Morose little bugger

Really don't feel like working tonight.

I'm tired. I should be more excited of the con, but I sense I'm actually excited that it'll happen so I know all the planning has worked out. I like being clinical when I plan; "Hope for the best, plan for the worst" is a motto of mine. Things with Jess' route to and from the event are still up in the air due to ridiculous prices which I neither hoped for nor planned for. Months after we used to pay £19 for return tickets, Jess is being informed a single train ticket to Leicester from London will cost nearly double that, and she needs to travel for less than that.

I've been bored all day. I wrote an email after something caused me to react enough to do so. I'm not sure if that was a clever thing to do, but it's happened. I can't go back on what I did.

I aim to sit here for as much of the four hours as is possible. It's not productive but today I have no desire to be here, due to a mixture of the tiredness, boredom and annoyance. The circumstance that annoys me involves the lack of an alarm system being put in the shop around a month after what happened regarding the robbery at the shop, and weeks after we have a safety deposit box installed to keep the money safe.

If I find the manager or the shop owner are not arriving tonight I will shut up ten minutes early. Double standards to state I don't feel like working, yet slate my superiors for not caring? Perhaps. However, one incident has occured before the other and I'm just reacting as I deem necessary.

My mother has a jar of chocolate fudge, it's been in the fridge since Christmas time. She's only just decided to try it out, given its sickly-sweet taste, and so she's put it on a profiterole and after a taste of it, spat it out. She's looked at the fine print and noticed this is in fact chocolate fudge body moisturiser.

To which the main ingredients include mineral oil, stearic acid, glycerin and a form of alcohol.

And the packaging doesn't make this obvious. On the one hand I laughed at this and then on the other hand I wondered how many other people might have been caught out. Hopefully not too many, though!
